The Filipino Martial Arts Federation of Austria was founded 2012 merging six associations into one
representing the culture of Filipino Martial Arts in Arnis, Eskrima, Kali and Silat who seeks to
preserve ancient warriors methods in its traditional forms as an intrinsic need of self preservation
building excellent characters of the present. Being an active part of a global community in 130
countries emphasizes an organization structure seeing all of his members as a family sharing one
love united as one tribe making the world a safer place.

Ana Maria Langer’s role in the preservation and promotion of Philippine heritage and culture in Austria spans four decades. Her genuine love for Philippine culture and traditions continue to inspire her to train and share her dancing skills to the Filipino-Austrian community, rendering performances to the Austrian public, diplomatic community and international visitors in Austria. She has conceptualized and directed a number of Philippine cultural shows featuring traditional dances and ethnic rituals from the Philippines bringing honour and pride to the country.
